Mr. Vance graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2005 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence.  He soon went to work at Musick & Musick,  Houston Criminal Defense Law Firm, where he jumped directly into criminal trial practice in misdemeanor and felony courts as well as helping defend many high profile cases.

In 2007, Mr. Vance attended the Texas Criminal Trial College, where he learned the intricacies of a criminal trial from the best practitioners in our state. He has been a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Assocaitaion, Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.  He is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas as well as the US District Court and US Bankruptcy Court in the  Southern District of Texas.

In 2011, Mr. Vance was appointed to serve as a Municipal Judge in the City of South Houston, Texas and is currently the Associate Municipal Judge.
